Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Support Specialist to join our team at Michael Page Legal. As a Legal Support Specialist, you will provide critical support to our lawyers and clients, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate calendars, including scheduling client appointments, meetings, and court dates.
  • Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence with a high level of accuracy.
  • Conduct file management, including opening, closing, and maintaining both electronic and physical client files.
  • Assist with document preparation for court filings and ensure compliance with relevant court deadlines.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to client inquiries, and directing communications to the appropriate lawyer.
  • Organize travel arrangements and itineraries for Partners and lawyers when required.
  • Manage billing and invoicing processes, including preparing client accounts and processing payments.
  • Assist with the preparation of briefing materials and coordinating with external parties.
  • Maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive client information with discretion.
  • Assist with office administration tasks, such as ordering supplies and maintaining a tidy office environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a law firm or legal administration role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software.
