Job Overview

This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team on a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Traffic engineering: Develop and implement strategies to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion.
  • Civil design: Design and manage construction projects from concept to completion.
  • Asset engineering: Oversee the maintenance and upgrade of council assets.
  • Construction engineering: Coordinate the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Project planning: Plan and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.
About You

Candidates should possess:

  • Knowledge of traffic engineering, civil design, project management, construction supervision, and asset management.
  • Ability to manage time, set priorities, and meet timelines.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • General computer skills and proficiency in engineering software, including CAD.
  • Work experience in non-engineering areas is advantageous.
  • Penultimate undergraduate status in Civil Engineering or final year in 2025.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
