Senior Civil Engineer - Road Geometry Design Position


Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to lead the detailed design of road geometry projects and mentor a team of civil designers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to infrastructure development while enjoying a collaborative work environment.


  • Design civil roadworks ensuring compliance with Austroads Guides and Australian Standards
  • Mentor a team of civil designers reviewing and refining their work
  • Provide technical expertise in drainage and culvert design
  • Manage projects effectively for timely delivery
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative engineering solutions

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of local experience in road geometry design
  • Proficiency in 12D or OpenRoads and Microsoft applications
  • Strong understanding of Austroads Guides and relevant Australian Standards
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects, mentor a team, and deliver high-quality designs
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Chartered or Registered Engineer (Civil)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia
  • Australian Driver's License
