About Our Team Leader Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our supportive aged care team in the heart of South Australia's stunning Riverland region. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to our residents.

Job Description:
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide social and emotional support to all residents, ensuring holistic and person-centered care provision.
  • Support the coordination of care needs across the home, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration, pressure care management.
  • Lead and supervise care on the shift, within designated wings or areas.
  • Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation, and policies and procedures.
About You:
  • You will have relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (including HLTHPS007 Administer & Monitor Medicines) or Certificate III in Individual Support with willingness to undertake training to obtain required qualifications.
  • You must have a high level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
  • An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and in writing.
  • You should be able to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required.
  • A current National police check is also essential.
  • You will possess working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organization is necessary.
