Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Helicopter Pilot Captain to fill a casual position within our team. This role requires coverage at multiple locations, including Jandakot and Bunbury.

About the Role:

  • Operate as a pilot-in-command of the AW139 helicopter in emergency medical services, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of patients and medical staff
  • Maintain accurate records of flight hours, passengers, and cargo, meeting all regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with ground crews and other teams to ensure seamless operations, prioritizing communication and teamwork

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A valid Airline Transport Pilot License (H)
  • A valid Instrument Rating-Crew Member (ME) (H) with a minimum of 3 renewals
  • A minimum of 3000 flying hours (H), with 2000 hours as Pilot-In-Command (PIC) (H)
  • A current AW139 Type Rating, with 100 PIC hours on type
  • A Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) rating
  • A minimum of 200 hours night flying experience
  • A Low Level rating with Winch Endorsement
  • The ability to successfully complete a Single Pilot Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC) and EMS line check in the AW139
  • A CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • An Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
