Job Title

A commercial finance professional is sought to join our dynamic team as a key member of the finance team.

Job Description

This role involves monitoring and analysing key commercial metrics, including sales performance, profitability, and cost structures. The successful candidate will work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and risk management. This includes conducting analysis on financial and other performance data against budgets and providing feedback to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyse key commercial metrics, including sales performance, profitability, and cost structures.
  • Work with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and risk management.
  • Conducts analysis on financial and other performance data against budgets and provides feedback to the CFO and General Manager – JTA.
  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, operations and finance teams to ensure alignment on commercial goals for the rendering & protein business unit.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to internal teams to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure that production planning aligns with financial budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor production schedules, ensuring that resources are efficiently allocated to meet business demands.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic business decisions.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Finance related discipline and 5+ years of experience in a commercial, financial, or business management role preferably in agribusiness, FMCG, or manufacturing. The candidate must possess strong financial acumen with expertise in pricing, profitability analysis, and cost management.
