Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated cafe leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cafe. This is a part-time role, contracted to 20 hours per week.

As a cafe leader, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of quality work and creating a positive environment where your team feels welcomed and supported.


Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
  • Supervising a team and creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
  • Being a responsible key holder
  • Assisting with weekly bookwork and any other duties that are necessary
  • Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines
  • Placing orders for stock to maintain the correct stock levels
  • Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times
  • Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
  • Complying with Health & Safety regulations

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a focus on great customer service, and a team player attitude. They must be able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
