Innovative Design Solutions Specialist

The role of Industrial Designer is crucial in ensuring the development of innovative and practical solutions to clients' point-of-sales needs.
This position works closely with the sales and factory teams to understand design briefs and create suitable solutions for effective manufacture and satisfied customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Consult effectively with the sales team and clients on design requirements
- Resolve design concerns to meet agreed outcomes
- Investigate, test, and suggest materials and production processes to ensure cost-effective and long-lasting items
- Provide detailed feedback to the sales team on negotiation and agree budgets and time-scales for factory production processes
- Ensure concepts align with requirements through sketches, engineering drawings, renders, samples, and quality control procedures
- Present designs, samples, and final work to customers for review and evaluation
- Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function using models and prototypes (in-store environments)
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends, materials, and influences
- Prepare production-ready files for both in-house and offshore production teams
- Collaborate with the factory team to resolve manufacturing concerns and improve process efficiencies
- Provide mentorship and training to other designers
