Lifestyle Coordinators play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of individuals, their families and caregivers. They facilitate positive health options, empowering residents to make informed choices.
Key Responsibilities- Strategically plan and execute activities that cater to social and recreational needs, promoting independence and quality of life.
- Assess and document the effectiveness of programs by monitoring residents' progress and adapting them as needed.
- Boost engagement and participation of residents in various social, recreational and cultural activities.
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is essential.
- Diversional Therapy Degree is desirable.
- Senior First Aid Certificate is also desirable.
- Previous experience in an aged care setting is highly valued.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills are required.
- Ability to think critically and solve problems independently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
- Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, internet/intranet skills, email communication and confidence with digital devices.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety principles.
