We are seeking a highly skilled Dementia Care Professional to provide high-quality care and support services to residents with dementia and mental illness in a safe and supportive environment.
About the Role:
- Provide transitional support and care for individuals living with severe behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia.
- Ensure the safety, dignity, and well-being of residents at every stage of care.
- Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team to provide comprehensive care.
About Our Facility:
We have a 90-bed residential aged care facility with two secure units offering 45 beds each for aged mental health and dementia-specific care. Residents are referred who require a higher level of care due to cognitive, emotional, or behavioral disturbances.
The goal is to improve the resident's condition, enabling them to be transferred to less restrictive and more suitable accommodations.
