Job Title: Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure systems and networks
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Android operating systems, Virtual Machines, networking technology and protocols, security hardening/management, database management, mobile application/devices, multi-threaded software systems and architecture
  • Qualifications, Certifications or related prior experience as a Cyber Security tech support and/or Cyber Security Engineer
  • Strong familiarity with the Commonwealth's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and relevant Information Security Management (ISM) controls required for the accreditation and recertification of ICT systems
  • Self-motivated and capable to complete duties efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures
  • Working understanding of Systems and Software Engineering processes, and product development lifecycles such as Waterfall and Agile
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of emanation security and its requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in ICT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Proficient in the development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures; experience in DevSecOps is advantageous
  • Software programming and scripting skills such as C/C++/C# and Python
  • Prior experience as a COMSEC custodian
