Compliance Expert for AML/CTF

We are seeking a Compliance Manager - AML/CTF & Conflicts to join our Legal team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have experience in executing AML/CTF processes and supporting the maintenance of compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities- Execute AML/CTF processes in compliance with firm policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Support the design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the firm's enterprise-wide AML/CTF compliance program and systems.
- Conduct initial and ongoing client due diligence and enhanced due diligence for high-risk clients, including risk assessments.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as law or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in AML/CTF compliance, preferably in a legal or financial services organization.
- Strong understanding of AML/CTF legislation and regulations, particularly in Australia.
- Excellent analytical, investigative, and decision-making skills, with ability to manage sensitive information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal teams and stakeholders.
