About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering and assessing our CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry course.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Course Delivery: Deliver high-quality training sessions to students, ensuring they meet the required standards and achieve their learning goals.
  • Assessment and Validation: Conduct assessments and validations of student work, providing constructive feedback to improve their performance.
  • Training Resource Development: Review, update, and develop training resources and assessment materials to ensure they are relevant and effective.
  • Client Engagement: Consult with clients to understand their training needs and provide advice on how to improve their workforce development strategies.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive Experience: 5+ years of experience working in the Carpentry industry, with a strong background in training and assessment.
  • Qualifications: Hold the CPC30220 Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualifications, as well as the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Australian Business Number (ABN): Possess an up-to-date and active Australian Business Number (ABN).
  • Driver's License: Hold a valid and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and consultation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
