Academic Lecturer

We are seeking two highly qualified and experienced education-focused lecturers to join our team at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) School of Education. As a lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, as well as contributing to the development of our undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver teaching and learning activities that inspire student learning and achievement.
- Conduct classes, assess student learning, and provide feedback in line with UNSW policy.
- Develop and implement innovative approaches to teaching and learning, with a focus on enhancing the educational experience of our students.
- Support the School's engagement activities, including professional experience liaison visits, marking the Graduate Teacher Performance Assessment, and participating in student recruitment events.
- A PhD, teaching qualification, and relevant experience in education.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Australian education systems and successful classroom teaching experience.
- Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development.
- A track record of engaging with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning framework to apply new understandings and insights in the field of education.
