Airline network controllers play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of flight schedules. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing real-time operational control, monitoring flight performance, and coordinating with pilots and ground staff to address any issues that may arise.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring flight schedules and managing delays or disruptions
  • Optimising aircraft and crew utilisation to maintain on-time performance
  • Communicating operational changes and updates to stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with aviation safety regulations and procedures

You will also be required to:

  • Maintain accurate records of flight operations
  • Provide support and guidance to flight crews during in-flight and ground operations
  • Maintain operational systems and ensure they are up-to-date and accurate
  • Respond to emergencies such as aircraft technical issues, medical emergencies, or security concerns

Industry knowledge and skills required:

  • Fatigue management and aircrew fatigue legislation
  • Operational systems and AIMS
  • Amadeus suite of systems and flight planning software
