We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Game Development Officer to join our team in the Mackay region of Queensland. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the growth and development of Rugby League in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives to increase participation in Rugby League at all levels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community groups, schools, and other stakeholders to promote the sport.
  • Provide coaching and training to community coaches and officials to ensure high-quality delivery of the game.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a field such as sports management, education, or a related field.
  • Experience in program development, facilitation, and delivery.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
