Job Overview

Clinical Nurse Educator role involves working at a local health district.

Key responsibilities include identifying development needs within the Nursing/Midwifery team and designing tailored education plans to ensure high competency and compliance across the ward.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and address skill gaps in Nursing/Midwifery staff.
  • Design and deliver impactful training sessions to enhance professional competence.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Managers to shape patient care through education initiatives.
  • Lead clinical excellence by providing evidence-based, best-practice learning opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with relevant authorities.
  • Relevant post-registration education qualification or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the employer.
  • Recent extensive clinical experience demonstrating expertise in clinical teaching, mentoring, and preceptorship.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a consultative approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and foster a learning culture.
