We are currently seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Process Operators to join our team at Huon Aquaculture Company's salmon processing facility in Ingleburn, a suburb of Sydney.

About the Role:

Our Ingleburn factory processes salmon and ocean trout value-added products for distribution across Australia. As a Process Operator, your key responsibilities will include

  • The weighing, sorting, trimming, portioning, skinning, preparation, and packaging of salmon and trout products.
  • A roster that consists of Monday to Friday work with early morning starts, as well as occasional weekend and public holiday work.
  • Full-time and casual positions are available, with opportunities to work on day shifts or afternoon shifts if you join our Hygiene team.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be keen and self-motivated, with a positive and cooperative approach. Additionally, you should be physically fit and comfortable standing for most of the day. Your pride in being efficient and safety-conscious is essential, as well as having a strong attention to detail.

You will enjoy hands-on work, early starts, and thrive in supportive team environments. Above all, you will possess a strong work ethic and desire to make a positive contribution to our company.

Requirements:

Prior experience working in a production or food processing environment, as well as an awareness of Food Safety, hygiene, and Work Health & Safety regulations, will be highly regarded. Previous knife-hand/filleting experience is also desirable.

What We Offer:

In exchange for your skills and dedication, we offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per year, depending on your level of experience. This salary estimate is based on industry standards for similar roles in the Sydney area.
