Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a HACCP system that meets legislative and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain controls and standards to ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and execute regular auditing programs to satisfy food safety, certification, and company requirements.
  • Conduct internal spot checks to ensure registrations and certifications are up-to-date.
  • Assist in ensuring site compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
  • Support sites in closing out corrective action requests within set timelines.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in a similar role within a logistics or industrial environment.
  • Qualifications in auditing or relevant disciplines.
  • Experience leading a small team.
  • Good understanding and implementation of safety procedures, product safety, quality, and legality issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, and influencing skills.
  • Proficient time management and organizational skills.
