Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our client's team on a 12-month contract. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for providing strong end-to-end payroll services, including preparing reports and processing manual backpays and terminations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely processing of end-to-end payroll activities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, taking action where necessary to enforce compliance
  • Responsible for the accurate provision of employee contracts, payroll processing, and maintenance of employee records
  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll systems and procedures, making recommendations where necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar position with knowledge of PayGlobal highly desired
  • Demonstrated understanding of Modern Awards, including technical and legal components of employees' pay
  • Strong ability to engage with a range of stakeholders
  • You will possess a high attention to detail with strong administrative skills
