About Our Client: Our client, a leading law firm, seeks a talented Associate with over 3 years of experience in Property & Commercial Law to join their well-established team. Role Overview: As an Associate in Property & Commercial Law, your responsibilities will include:

Property Law:

  • Guiding clients through complex property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, and developments.
  • Drafting and negotiating intricate contracts, agreements, and leases.
  • Conducting due diligence for property transactions and preparing comprehensive reports.
  • Handling property-related disputes, providing litigation support when necessary.

Commercial Law:

  • Offering thorough legal advice on commercial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate structuring.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, and shareholder agreements.
  • Advising on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and risk management.
  • Assisting in dispute resolution and litigation support for commercial issues.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivating and maintaining robust client relationships through effective communication and exceptional legal advice.
  • Identifying client needs and creating customised legal solutions to achieve their business goals.
  • Managing a diverse client portfolio, ensuring timely and satisfactory service delivery.

Team Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Leading and mentoring junior lawyers and support staff, promoting a collaborative and high-achieving team environment.
  • Aiding in the formulation and execution of team strategies and objectives.
  • Enhancing team processes and service delivery standards continuously.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Property & Commercial Law.

  • Capability to lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Admission as a Solicitor in Queensland.
