Job Title: Financial Analyst - Market Risk

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our Market Risk Team as a Financial Analyst.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to work in an agile environment, and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. A background in finance or banking is desirable but not required. The role requires the ability to multitask, work autonomously, and proactively manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and management of the Risk Framework and Strategy with a focus on risk identification, analysis, and reporting.
  • Deliver exceptional service by enhancing functional reputation and meeting customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide policy interpretation on Regional and local Market Risk policies and frameworks.
  • Maintain and update credit limits of front and back office systems.
  • Produce risk exposure and profit and loss reports for Treasury, Head Office, and regulatory purposes.
  • Ensure maintenance of all middle office systems.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, or accounting.
  • Strong Excel skills and analytical experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines.
