About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to serve as our Chief Academic Officer. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic direction of The Fashion Institute.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and direction to our academic departments, faculty, and staff to drive academic excellence and innovation.
  • Academic Excellence: Foster a culture of academic excellence, ensuring that our programs are at the forefront of industry trends and standards.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with industry partners to develop and implement innovative curricula that provide students with real-world insights and skills.
  • Teaching and Learning: Ensure that our teaching and learning practices are aligned with industry best practices and standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that our academic programs and practices are compliant with relevant regulatory standards and accreditations.
  • Faculty Development: Provide guidance and support to faculty members to enhance their teaching and research skills.
Requirements
  • PhD Qualification: A PhD in a relevant field is required.
  • Academic Leadership Experience: Proven experience in academic leadership or senior roles within higher education is essential.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the fashion industry and its trends is required.
  • Communication and Decision-Making Skills: Excellent communication and decision-making skills are essential for this role.
