The Nuclear Medicine Development Team at ANSTO is seeking a highly skilled Radiochemist to join their dynamic team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and advancing our radiochemistry manufacturing capabilities.

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Radiochemist who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in radiochemistry and the development of radioisotopes and radiopharmaceuticals, as well as exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.

Your Duties and Responsibilities

  • Radiochemistry Development: Conduct research and development activities to create and enhance the manufacturing of radioisotopes and radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
  • Process Optimisation: Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for the production of nuclear medicine products, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the integrity and safety of scientific outcomes.
  • Collaborative Research: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and regulatory experts, to drive innovation and ensure compliance.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical reports and detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Capability Development: Engage in continuous learning and participate in capability development programs to stay current with advancements in radiochemistry and nuclear medicine.
