About the Opportunity
The Nuclear Medicine Development Team at ANSTO leverages cutting-edge experimental science to support the translation and optimisation of our nuclear medicine products. Our focus is on ensuring product quality, safety, profitability, and sustainability. As a Radiochemist, you will play a pivotal role in this dynamic team by undertaking capability development programs aimed at enhancing and advancing our radiochemistry manufacturing capabilities. Your Duties and Responsibilities
Radiochemistry Development: Conduct research and development activities to create and enhance the manufacturing of radioisotopes and radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Process Optimisation: Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for the production of nuclear medicine products, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure the integrity and safety of scientific outcomes. Collaborative Research: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including researchers, engineers, and regulatory experts, to drive innovation and ensure compliance. Technical Documentation: Prepare comprehensive technical reports and detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs). Capability Development: Engage in continuous learning and participate in capability development programs to stay current with advancements in radiochemistry and nuclear medicine.Please to view the Position Description.
