Morven Gardens Centre is a 71 beds-home, nestled in the beautiful mountain village of Leura, within the Blue Mountains region.

Our mission is to provide a welcoming and home-like environment that supports residents to live their best life.

About the Role:

We are hiring for a casual position requiring minimum 30 hours a fortnight on a permanent basis to cover primarily afternoon shifts from 3pm to 8pm. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, including breakfasts, lunches, and dinners.

Duties may include:

  • Assistance in meal preparation and serving
  • Support with daily living activities
  • Collaboration with each resident to continue doing the things they love

Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will be a team player who enjoys interacting with elderly people. You should also have a passion for working within a kitchen environment, possess an understanding of food hygiene practices, and previous experience in kitchen/food service roles.
