We are seeking an Electrical Design Drafter to join our Primary Engineering Team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will work on innovative high voltage infrastructure projects for the National Electricity Grid, including substations, grid connections, and battery storage.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertaking, managing, and producing high-quality design artefacts, technical documentation, and other work tasks to agreed deadlines, standards, and in accordance with project plans.
  • Interpreting and implementing design information provided by Primary Design Engineers, Civil Design Engineers, and Design Managers.
  • Producing CAD drawings in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD for compliance with client requirements and standards.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A sound knowledge of the utilities or renewable energy industry, with experience in substation design highly regarded.
  • Previous experience producing CAD drawings for compliance with client requirements and standards.
  • Tertiary studies are favourable, but not essential.
