Elevate your career with this exciting opportunity to join our team as a Casual Customer Delivery Driver at Cairns Airport.

As a key member of our Catering Team, you will be responsible for loading fully stocked aircraft trolleys onto hi-lift trucks and driving them to the aircraft. You will also guide the vehicle for safe approach, load the carts onto the aircraft, and coordinate with airline cabin crew to ensure everything is correct.

This role requires flexibility to work around flight schedules and excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must have a clean valid MR or HR Driver's License (at least 1 year of driving experience) and good physical fitness to perform frequent manual handling tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load aircraft trolleys onto hi-lift trucks and drive them to the aircraft.
  • Guide the vehicle for safe approach and coordinate with airline cabin crew.
  • Remove empty carts and return to the catering facility.

Requirements:

  • A clean valid MR or HR Driver's License with at least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Good physical fitness and ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Flexibility to work around flight schedules.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 20/20 vision and sound hearing are essential for this role.
