Key Role: Mechanical Lift Fitter

We are seeking skilled professionals to join our high-performing team in Melbourne, Victoria. The ideal candidate will possess extensive mechanical experience, preferably within the lift industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Complete the full installation of new elevators, escalators, and auto walks from commencement to commissioning.
  • Manage the equipment installation environment during installation activities.
  • Communicate with customers for day-to-day installation and logistical activities.
  • Report installation progress to the installation supervisor.
  • Carry out all activities in accordance with quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Install equipment according to pre-determined method instructions and schedules.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical experience, preferably in the lift industry.
  • Certificate 3 in mechanical fitting/fabrication engineering (desired).
  • Trade tickets (desired) – dogging, advanced rigging.
  • A motivated and self-starting individual who can manage workload and competing priorities.
  • A strong commitment to working safely with a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
