Job Title

The Site Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on a construction site. The role ensures projects are delivered efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and supervise site operations, including laborers, subcontractors and tradespeople.
  • Monitor project timelines, costs and quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Interpret and implement construction plans, specifications and drawings.
  • Liaise with project managers, engineers and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed progress reports.
  • Manage site resources, including materials, tools and equipment.
  • Identify and resolve site-related issues and implement effective solutions to maintain workflow.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Certificate IV or Diploma in Building and Construction or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.
  • Sound knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Current White Card and valid driver's license.
  • Experience in residential and commercial construction projects.
  • Familiarity with project management software and digital site tools.
  • Ability to promote a positive and productive work environment.
