About the Role

The Manager Marketing, Communications and Engagement is responsible for developing, leading, and implementing organisational-wide communications, marketing, and key stakeholder engagement strategies. The role involves understanding our consumers' needs and ensuring our key stakeholders understand and value the services we provide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy to maximise revenue and occupancy.
  • Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy, including the preparation of all internal and external communications and advertising.
  • Oversee and coordinate the Community Advisory Body.
  • Provide advice to the CEO and others on all matters pertaining to Communications, Community Engagement, and Marketing.
  • Maintain, protect, and manage the Shepparton Villages brand.
  • Develop and implement high-quality marketing/advertising materials and communications, including print, electronic, and social media.
  • Prepare key documents and reports, including the Annual Reports, CEO, staff, and resident Newsletters, and reports as required.
  • Organise and manage Shepparton Villages events and relevant meetings.
  • Work with key internal and external stakeholders on various projects to advance the provision of SRV's Aged Care Services.
  • Attend all residential care and independent living unit meetings and provide reports.

Selection Criteria

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification, e.g. Marketing, Communications, Media, and/or Public Relations.
  • Experience in marketing and/or communications, including brand management.
  • Demonstrated high-level written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement, outstanding influencing, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in and knowledge of how to engage with consumers and the community that builds trust and transparency.
  • An understanding of how to align business and consumer/community expectations.
  • Demonstrated capacity to function at a strategic and operational level within a complex service and people-based environment.
  • Experience in producing and managing websites, online content, e-marketing, and social media.
  • Demonstrated capacity to meet timeframes and coordinate work output effectively within competing priorities.
