This is an exciting opportunity for a confident and self-motivated leader to take on the role of Assistant Retail Manager. As a key support to the Retail Manager, you will ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the store and deliver exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will have a strong ability to lead in a fast-paced retail environment, possess excellent customer service skills, and have experience working with budgets and KPIs. They will also be able to work as part of a team and provide leadership when required.

In this role, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Pharmacy assistants, completing opening and/or closing procedures, and assisting with banking reconciliation, stock management, administration, and business financial reporting needs.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Experience: Through hands-on and inspiring leadership style.
  • Visual Merchandising Expertise: Create appealing displays, execute marketing campaigns, and maximise sales.
  • Team Support: Supervise Pharmacy assistants and complete opening and/or closing procedures.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with banking reconciliation, stock management, administration, and business financial reporting needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Leadership Ability: Confident delivering leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Budget Management: Experience working with and achieving budgets and KPIs.
  • Teamwork and Leadership: Ability to work as part of a team and confidence in providing leadership.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Computer skills including operating POS system.
  • Passion for Retail Pharmacy: Genuine passion for retail pharmacy; previous pharmacy experience is highly regarded.
  • Certification: Certificate III or IV in Community Pharmacy is highly regarded.
