Compassionate Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate rehabilitation nurse to join our team at Wingham Rehabilitation Hospital.
The successful candidate will have recent experience in an acute or subacute hospital setting and demonstrate strong clinical skills in care planning, medication management, wound care, documentation, and reporting. They will also be a strong communicator and team player who values person-centred care.
- Work collaboratively with patients and families to establish and achieve individual rehabilitation goals.
- Have recent experience in an acute or subacute hospital setting.
- Demonstrate clinical skills in care planning, medication management, wound care, documentation, and reporting, and patient safety (falls prevention, manual handling, pressure injury management).
- Be a strong communicator and team player who values person-centred care.
We offer comprehensive orientation, including training on morning, afternoon, and night shifts. One-day mandatory education at Manning Base Hospital for external applicants and one-day rehabilitation course specialising in benchmarking with FIM - Functional Independence Measure.
- Allocated ward time to complete mandatory education.
