Job Title: Legal Leadership Position

This is a newly created leadership role offering the opportunity to grow into senior management and make a difference in women's access to justice.

  • Provide high-quality legal advice, casework, and representation in complex matters.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of 4 solicitors.
  • Act as Principal Legal Officer when required.
  • Lead community outreach and deliver legal education.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across legal, government, and community sectors.
About You
  • You are a values-driven leader who thrives in dynamic environments and supports your team to succeed.
  • Admission as a solicitor in Australia plus eligibility for an NT Practising Certificate.
  • 4+ years post-admission experience in relevant practice areas.
  • Experience or strong interest in DFSV, family law, or child protection.
  • Skills in trauma-informed, culturally safe practice, ideally with Aboriginal communities.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience within a legal practice.
Requirements
  • Ochre Card (WWCC).
  • National Police Clearance.
  • Manual Driver's Licence.
