Health Policy Leadership Role

You will lead and coordinate state-wide health policy initiatives for legislative compliance activities in collaboration with various stakeholders.

  1. Manage research and environmental scanning activities to inform the development of state-wide health policy frameworks and service plans.
  2. Provide high-level strategic advice and direction to health divisions, clinical networks, and other stakeholders on health policy, compliance, and service planning matters.
  3. Prepare high-level briefing documents, submissions, correspondence, and reports to support policy development and stakeholder engagement.
  4. Establish and maintain networks with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective policy consultation processes.

About You:

  • The ability to critically analyse and interpret data to underpin policy development and strategy implementation.
  • High-level knowledge of health priority areas, population health needs, and key health system issues.
  • Strong project management skills to deliver complex projects within tight timelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders and negotiate outcomes.
