Process Engineering Lead

A mid-senior Process Engineer with a strong technical background in Chemical/Process Engineering will succeed in this role. As a Process Engineering Lead, you will:

  • Manage process design through engineering phases from concept/select to delivery.
  • Communicate with Project Managers and Team Members to ensure Projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Track single-discipline projects and write technical reports as required.
  • Prepare proposals and tenders for new and ongoing works.
  • Provide technical guidance to develop junior engineers.
  • SOURCE NEW CLIENTS AND PROMOTE THE PROCESS OFFERING.

You will have:

  • A Process Engineering degree with 15+ years process design experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • CPEng or CEng/RPEQ registration.
  • Excellent skills in using Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, and DNV PHAST software packages.
  • Sound knowledge of process safety including risk identification and assessment.
  • Skills in preparing PFD's, P&ID's, heat and material balances, instruments and equipment data sheets, utilities flow diagrams, and chemical consumption/effluent summaries.
  • Ability and experience in providing technical support through the full lifecycle of the projects.
  • A confident communicator and team player with the ability to drive projects and clients' success.
  • Highly skilled in mentoring Junior Engineers and building a positive working environment.
