About the Role:


As a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will join our team at JJ's Waste & Recycling to provide top-notch maintenance and repair services for our fleet of heavy rigid vehicles. Based in Redlands or Scenic Rim, you will report directly to the Workshop Manager and be responsible for conducting all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair, including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics, and fabrication.



About You:


We're looking for an experienced Trade Qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with a passion for delivering exceptional results. Your skills and qualifications should include:


  • Australian recognised Trade Qualifications as a Truck Mechanic - Heavy Commercial Vehicles
  • Valid HR license
  • In-depth understanding of NHVR Requirements
  • Dedication to achieving high standards of safety compliance and customer service
  • An exceptional eye for detail
  • Motivation and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • A valid driver's license (HR)
  • Bonus points if you have knowledge of hydraulic systems
