Lead Veterinarian Role

At our thriving veterinary hospital, we're seeking an experienced Lead Veterinarian to join our team. As a key member of our clinical leadership group, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our practice.

Job Description:

As a Lead Veterinarian, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and mentoring junior veterinarians to help them develop their skills and confidence. You will work closely with our Practice Manager to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, setting a positive example for other team members
  • Mentor and support junior veterinarians, helping them to develop their skills and confidence
  • Collaborate with our Practice Manager to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Build strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that they feel valued and supported

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care
  • Proven ability to mentor and support junior veterinarians, helping them to develop their skills and confidence
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with our Practice Manager and other team members
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine, applying this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes
