Transforming AI into Reality

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact AI use cases that can be optimized with advanced language models.
  2. Develop innovative AI solutions to address mining and engineering domain challenges by applying cutting-edge technologies.
  3. Design, build, and integrate software applications and APIs that leverage the power of large language models.
  4. Implement prompt engineering strategies and optimization techniques for specific business tasks to maximize efficiency.
  5. Create autonomous agents capable of planning, reasoning, and executing complex multi-step tasks using advanced AI techniques.
  6. Integrate LLM-powered features into new or existing products with strong UX considerations to enhance user experience.
  7. Develop evaluation frameworks to test LLM output quality, relevance, and safety to ensure high-quality results.
  8. Stay updated on the latest advancements in LLMs and contribute to internal best practices and technical strategy.
  9. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code to ensure seamless collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Full working rights for Australia.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional software or ML engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (preferred) or TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Experience integrating APIs, especially LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, etc.).
  • Familiarity with modern backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Node.js).
  • Understanding of prompt engineering and basic model evaluation.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience with AI development tools and libraries (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, etc.).
