Team Lead - Library Resources

At Tamworth Regional Council, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to oversee the management of our library resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and developing policies related to regional resources and local studies.

Job Description:
  • Manage the procurement and maintenance of print and electronic resources to meet the informational and recreational needs of members.
  • Implement and develop policies related to regional resources and local studies.
  • Work with vendors to ensure good relations and achieve best economic advantage for the purchase of library resources and services.
Requirements:
  • A 4-year degree or degree and postgraduate qualification in Information Management or Librarianship as recognized by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A WWCC (Working with Children Check).
