Transportation and Logistics Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced transportation professional to join our team as a Heavy Vehicle Driver. This role will involve transporting goods via road, planning routes to meet delivery schedules, inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a valid heavy vehicle driver's license, experience driving long hours, and knowledge of applicable truck driving and road rules. They will also possess excellent communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage unexpected situations to meet delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport finished goods via road to and from our warehouse to retail outlets and distribution centers;
  • Plan routes to meet delivery schedules in the most efficient way;
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and ensure compliance with work health and safety laws;
  • Provide exceptional customer service and represent our brand in a professional manner;
Requirements:
  • A valid Medium Rigid (MR), Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) Licence;
  • At least 2 years of experience driving a heavy vehicle;
  • Knowledge of the Sydney metro area;
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly;
  • Adaptability and foresight to manage unexpected situations;
