Job Opportunity: Local HR Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Logistics Specialist to join our organization at GKR Transport. As an HR Driver, you will be responsible for handling local pickups and deliveries of various freight restrained with various restraints.

This is a high-volume role that requires a strong commitment to safety, professional presentation, and exceptional time management skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate Tautliner and Open rigid trucks, ensuring proper use of gates, tarps, chains and load restraint equipment.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to designated locations.
Requirements:
  • Must hold a Manual Licence as a minimum.
  • Minimum 2 years of Freight Driving Experience.
  • Sound knowledge of securing loads with tarps and multiple load restraints including straps, dog & chains and binders.
  • A Forklift Ticket and willingness to help out in the yard as required is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Brisbane Metropolitan Area.
  • Willingness to provide a clean Driving Record.
  • Willingness to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical Examination, Police Check and provide One Recent Work Reference who will be contacted.
