Job Description

This role involves working with our customers in Morphett Vale 5162, assisting them with daily activities, personal care, and social support. You will be responsible for:

  • Providing domestic assistance, ensuring our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Supporting meal preparation and shopping, helping customers maintain their independence.
  • Offering social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting engagement and enjoyment.
  • Providing personal care, including medication management, mobility assistance, and therapy goals.
  • Offering respite and emotional support, acknowledging the importance of mental well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support, Disability, or Nursing.
  • Experience in a similar role, including personal care, manual handling, hoist training, and medications.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle – travel is an essential aspect of this role.
  • The ability to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems while seeking guidance when needed.
