Our Nursing Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. You will be encouraged to grow, develop, and feel empowered to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

You will work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional person-centred care. This includes applying sound clinical practice, communicating effectively, and demonstrating a commitment to patient safety and quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide safe and holistic care to individuals and their families
  • Apply best clinical practice and ensure a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes
  • Deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your team
  • Effectively exchange information regarding patient responses to treatment and nursing care
  • Demonstrate application of the principles of clinical and workplace risk management
  • Achieve optimum patient care through effective collaboration with other health professionals
  • Coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes through appropriate allocation of staff and delegation of work

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent
  • AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 12 months post-graduate experience within a Rehab ward and/or acute care/hospital setting
  • Flexibility to work across a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety practices
  • Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements
