Job Overview

As an Infrastructure Advisor, you will provide expert guidance and coordinate projects to support education facilities across Queensland.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver client-centric facilities advice and consultancy services to schools and the wider community.
  • Offer strategic guidance on facilities planning, investment, and asset management.
  • Coordinate with regional facilities teams, external providers, and agencies to deliver facilities services.
  • Collaborate across teams to provide field-based facility support services.
  • Prepare reports, briefing materials, and ministerial responses.
  • Manage and monitor delivery of capital works, maintenance, and facilities services.
  • Advise senior officers on facilities planning and asset management matters.
  • Conduct operational audits of physical assets.
  • Support regional staff professional development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities planning, asset management, or infrastructure delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to collaborate across teams and agencies.
  • Blue card required.
  • Capability in managing projects to scope, budget, and timeframes.
  • High-level written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
