Civil Structures Engineer

Arup is seeking a skilled Civil Structures Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and analysing bridges, tunnels, highways, rail, and maritime infrastructure.


  • Design and analyse civil structures such as bridges, tunnels, and highways.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to develop project plans and timelines.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience in structural analysis and design.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (e.g. AS5100) and local authority design requirements (e.g. DIT).
  • Proficiency in software such as Autodesk Structural Bridge Design and Revizto.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
