As a key member of our category planning team, you will play a critical role in the coordination of category-related collateral and ensuring that category/merchandise plans are rolled out to schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet business objectives in relation to category plans
  • Engage with suppliers and negotiate agreements
  • Analyze range performance and provide reviews
  • Develop and manage off-shore product development and lifecycle management
  • Review and execute promotional plans
  • Create and procure content for packaging and online
  • Analyze data and provide insights
  • Plan and execute seasonal product launches
  • Prepare and present reports
  • Provide general administration support related to the role and category
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Category, merchandise, or buying experience, or a passion for developing a career in this area
  • Retail or FMCG experience desirable
  • Strong communication skills and ability to develop solid stakeholder relationships
  • Well-developed Excel skills and experience with Microsoft packages
  • A love of data and ability to analyze information, identify key points, and make recommendations
  • A keen eye for detail and strong sense of logic
