Senior Technical Project Manager - Trading Platforms

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of trading platforms and systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of new trading functionality across a large-scale SaaS platform. You will manage 5 squads (50–60 people, 65–70% offshore) spanning Australia, Vietnam, and the UK. This is a technical delivery role, sitting above multiple Scrum teams and ensuring trading product builds are delivered to scale, on time, and in line with the overall architecture roadmap.

As Technical Project Manager – Trading Platforms, you'll lead the end-to-end delivery of new trading functionality across a large-scale SaaS platform. You'll manage distributed teams, balancing offshore capacity with onshore delivery needs. You will drive agile delivery – setting standards for development frameworks, documentation, and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end technical delivery of trading functionality.
  • Manage distributed teams (5 squads / 50–60 people), balancing offshore capacity with onshore delivery needs.
  • Translate complex trading requirements into clear, actionable technical solutions aligned to product strategy.
  • Drive agile delivery – setting standards for development frameworks, documentation, and reporting.

For this role, we are looking for candidates with:

  • Trading domain expertise – experience with trading platforms, systems, or products. Background with organisations like FNZ, HUB24, Bravura, Netwealth, SS&C, GBST, ASX, J.P. Morgan, Avaloq highly valued.
  • Large-scale technology delivery – proven track record running major software delivery programs with multiple squads/teams.
  • Platform/product expertise – strong knowledge of SaaS product delivery and technical platform builds, ideally in wealth/trading contexts.
