Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical professional to join our finance team as an Accountant.

This role will suit a candidate who is highly adaptable, thrives on problem solving, and seeks a hands-on position with international and domestic exposure to different areas of the real estate and funds management business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Deliver accurate and timely month-end management accounts and consolidated fund reporting.
    • Prepare account reconciliations, monthly consolidated fund financials, IFRS reporting, cost tracking, and budget/project variance analysis.
  • Accounting and Tax Advisory:
    • Review and analyze property accounting prepared by external property managers.
    • Provide technical accounting and tax advisory for Real Estate transactions.
  • Investor Reporting:
    • Prepare quarterly unit price reporting to investors.
  • Compliance and Audits:
    • Assist with compliance, debt management, and investment administration across allocated Funds and Project entities.
    • Ensure fund operations comply with internal compliance obligations.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives in Fund operations.
Requirements
  • Professional Accounting qualification (e.g., CA or CPA) with at least 2+ years post-qualification experience.
  • 4+ years accounting experience.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Experience with large accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Intermediate).
  • Prior experience with consolidation essential.
  • Funds management, financial services, or property industry exposure essential.
