Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineering Specialist to join our team at Graymont Limited. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for preparing preliminary general arrangements, 2D and 3D layouts, and process flow diagrams for option analysis and feasibility studies.

About the Role:
  • You will assist and support the EPC team, Capital Projects Managers, and other cross-functional groups to develop scope of work documents by traveling to site and performing measurements.
  • Assist sites with designs and basic drafting (new and updates) for site-related projects where EPC is not involved.
  • Support EPC and Operations with developing Class 5-4 cost estimates and documentation support on Capital Projects.
  • Assist with the process of migrating historical documents into the engineering document management system.
  • Support Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams in reviewing drawings supplied by external consultants.
  • Provide project commissioning support and commissioning QC support as required.
About You:
  • You will have successful years of engineering experience in a multi-disciplinary approach within an industrial environment, preferably in the lime, cement, mining, or other bulk material industry.
  • Formal education with a Diploma or Advance Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) is preferred.
  • Experience in the use of 3D rendering software such as Revit, Inventor, AutoCAD, Recap, and Navisworks, combined with experience with project cost estimating, is highly desirable.
